Are you badly in need of funds to finance your business or your
children education Well, you may consider getting a loan; but
what if there is a way to get the financing you need without the
requirement to pay it back Each year, the government gives out
almost $150 billion to hundreds of individuals and businesses
through government-funded programs. Government grants are funds
provided by the Federal government to aid businesses especially in
providing new jobs and also to lend a hand to individuals who need
funds for education and other personal financial needs.
The
US government offers $400 billion in grants through a thousand
different grant programs. And yet, even though there are numerous
government grant programs, a lot of individuals and business are
having a hard time finding grants. This is partly because the system
of government grants is quite confusing. Fortunately, the federal
government is putting things in good order to make researching and
applying for grants faster and easier.
Yes, there are
hundreds of government grant programs available; but finding the
right one will take diligent research. Research is the key to
locating a government grant program that you can apply for. The
Internet offers the best resource for researching government grants.
You can either do a simple keyword search or look up a specific
funding opportunity or CFDA (Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance)
number. You can also search by category at the official US
government grant website.
When you find the government grant
program you want to apply in, you must register for an account.
Follow the instructions on the grant application form properly and
check it thoroughly for completeness. Once your application has been
submitted, you can check for its status through a number of
identification numbers such as the CFDA and funding opportunity
number you used. |
